Apprenticing with the Plants allows you to develop and strengthen a deep connection, giving you access to the wisdom and healing gifts of the Universe. Through this apprenticeship you sharpen your intuitive skills, becoming your own authority. During our six months together you will explore the questions, “Who am I? Why am I here?”, working with the Plant Spirits and other guides to encourage your evolution, while learning skills to help others on their healing journey and awakening. The Plants say, “The time is now!” Time to rekindle our kinship with Nature and step into our fullest potential as humans as healers.

This apprenticeship is designed to help humans align with the intelligence of Nature and work with these energies to bring about healing at a core level—for oneself, one’s clients, the Earth, and more. The Plants provide the foundation for this course as we let our Hearts guide us in following this ancient and modern path of connecting deeply with the Sacred in All. This apprenticeship is designed for those who wish to become HEARTransformation practitioners or who want to incorporate this into an existing practice. The skills learned and wisdom gained can be applied to many areas of one’s life and adapted to work with any situation or environment.
The first year is based on Pam Montgomery’s Plant Spirit Healing Apprenticeship; graduates are eligible to participate in any of Pam’s advanced classes and if desired, to become a certified Plant Spirit Healing practitioner. During our (optional) second year, we will expand on this foundation and deepen our connection with Nature as we incorporate the Elements, Elementals, Archetypes, Light, Love and Source energy into our practice as well as learn other healing tools such as Egg Limpias, Soul retrievals, Karmic Healing, and Blueprint Adjustments.

“I have completed year 1 and 2 of Jen's HEARTransformation apprenticeship. I highly recommend it to anyone who is ready to embrace their soul's path. Although I had been learning about plants for many years, I had focused mostly on the physical and scientific aspects of the plants. Session 1: April 30 - May 2, 2021
Our first session is centered around the foundations of HEARTransformation and Plant Spirit Healing and establishing our co-creative community. You will delve into the intelligence of the Heart and learn the tools for the basis of good communication. While focusing on your own Heart, you will have your first encounter with the Plant and Faerie Worlds. As we concentrate on being in co-creative partnership with Nature, you will take part in reciprocity for the many gifts your Plant Ally will share with you. You will explore Shamanic Journeying through which you will receive your Personal Symbol. This symbol is unique to you and can give insight into your Soul Path.

Session 2: June 11 – 13, 2021
Moving deeper on our journey we look at our relationship with Nature through evolution, biophilia, and our own Spiritual Ecology. This weekend you work on your personal container, learning how to strengthen your boundaries and keep yourself (and your clients) protected. You will engage with the wider worlds and your body through the seven directions and foundational elements. You move into deep union with St. John’s Wort who fills you with Light, heals your Aura, and gives your Soul Force more energy. You will continue to expand and heal your Heart and begin your experiences with Flower Essences, learning how to create and play with them. (We will continue to work with Flower Essences throughout the apprenticeship.) You complete this nourishing, magical weekend wrapped in the loving support of Rose as you diet her, experiencing her many forms and gifts.

Session 3: July 9 - 11, 2021
During your third weekend, you spiral further on your path, building on the foundation you’ve created, bringing in more tools to help in your becoming. The theme for this weekend is energy hygiene. You experience different forms including smudging, Plant limpias, and sacred bathing leaving your aura shiny and sparkly, helping you stand in your True Essential Nature. You receive an initiation from Mugwort and learn one of the core practices of Plant Spirit Healing, an All-in- One, which removes energy blocks, increases your Soul Force energy, and helps you stand in your integrity. You will focus on being the Hollow Bone and experience your Medicine Place, the place where you can go to receive insight, do healings, receive strength or other gifts. You expand on your abilities to sense energy and learn how to create and work with Healing Landscapes. You experience the power of transmutation as you give back to the Earth through a Water ceremony. Just when you think you couldn’t shine any brighter, you experience Greenbreath. Greenbreath is an extraordinary process created by Pam Montgomery which offers the potential for spontaneous healing, shattering old patterns, releasing what no longer serves you, receiving guidance and information to help your evolution, re-membering who you truly are, and changing your life.

Session 4: August 6 – 8, 2021
During weekend four, you begin or strengthen your relationship with your Animal guides, who will be helpers both in your personal life and your practice. You delve into Energy Anatomy and learn how to perform chakra clearings and vertical alignments both of which help us to be vibrant and connect with Source energy. You experience the Labyrinth to deepen your understanding of yourself. As we remove blockages, re-member our potential, and work intimately with Plants, you awaken your innate divine sensuality and sexuality. We explore these themes and their importance in our evolution and awakening.

Session 5: September 3 – 5, 2021
During this weekend, you delve deeply into your Soul work getting to the core. You will move into union with Tulsi who will guide you through a Soul contract journey. Understanding your soul contracts is an incredible asset in your healing work, this allows you to see the world in a different way, helping you know why you are here, what lessons you came to learn, and why certain people are in your life. Yarrow will assist you in a cord cutting helping you to clear away any cords that have been drains or are no longer in service to you. You will learn the tools of identifying and safely and easily clearing intrusive energies and objects including black magic and evil eyes which can have great effects on our health and lives. You will experience the Plant Spirit of Grandmother Ayahuasca and begin to develop your relationship with her. Grandmother Ayahuasca has many gifts and provides what the individual is most in need of, which may be healing, removing negative energies including black magic, opening the Heart, bringing clarity or answers, or providing bliss. You will end this powerful weekend on a high note as you experience a Rosemary Re-membrance journey which helps to encode your DNA with the qualities that you desire to assist you in becoming enlightened.

Session 6: October 8 – 11, 2021
The experiences, relationships, and work that you have had over the past 6 months come to a culmination during your final weekend. You begin the weekend connecting with Cedar who helps you as we focus on Ancestral healing. You also learn how to safely and easily remove possessing entities. This weekend is focused on HEARTransformation in practice including: completing an intake, body scanning, seeing the unseen, basics of a practice, and moving beyond a healing practice. You complete the HEARTransformation Apprenticeship by creating your Healer’s Bundle and of course, a CELEBRATION!!

Though don’t worry, the fun has just begun! Join us for Year 2 (in 2022) as you continue on this path experiencing new energies and learning more skills while transforming your Heart.
Location
HEARTransformation Apprenticeship is held at Heart Springs Sanctuary in Washington Boro, PA. This 4.5 acre Sanctuary is co-created with the Nature Spirits to create a place where ALL Beings are Sacred, safe, and honored and is part of the United Plant Savers’ Botanical Sanctuary Network. The Sanctuary plays an important part in the special energetic container Jen creates for our program which facilitates in the ability to go deep, connect, and transform, allowing you to push beyond your edges and face your fears while knowing you are safe, supported, held in Love and having fun.
Meals
At Brigid’s Way, we feel that eating is one of the joys of life and is a way to engage with our senses and the gifts of Mother Nature. We also recognize the importance of nourishing, tasty foods to support you as you delve deep. So while the Plants nourish your Soul, your body will be replenished with our organic, homemade meals featuring the delicious produce, meat, and dairy for which Lancaster County is famous. Herbal teas and snacks are available to graze throughout the day. Again and again, apprentices say they would come simply for the food.
Vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free options are provided.
We celebrate abundance with a potluck on Saturday nights.

Support
Personal healing through this apprenticeship is a natural part of the process, though not the immediate intention. There may be times that you would like extra support; therefore, students are given a 50% discount for healing sessions with Jen.
You will also have access to Jen throughout the program and we will have a private email and FaceBook group to further support and celebrate one another.

“I have always had a relationship with the green world that felt profound. But for most of my life, I did not have the language to explain what I felt or a community that confirmed my reality.
I needed help bridging the gap between the reality I was taught in mainstream culture, and the reality I felt was more intrinsic to being a spiritual being living in a world that is so alive. I needed other people to share and grow with.
Upon meeting Jen for the first time, I knew I wanted to learn from her and be her student. Long before I even fully understood the breadth of the work that she did, I could feel it resonating within me. I am so happy I took that leap of faith.
Jen’s work is gentle, subtle, but profoundly transformative. I felt safe and understood, and it lead me toward pathways of having more space in my life to grow into myself.
Each of the Apprenticeship weekends unfolded in unique ways. It was a beautiful practice and the way the time unfolded felt like magic. We learned to form relationship with plants, and to have those relationships be the basis of guiding our work. We learned how to listen and contribute with the Earth in what Jen would call "co-creative relationships". We built fellowship and community with one another as students. We explored parts of ourselves that where challenging for me at times, but ultimately led to much needed growth.
* I feel more grounded.
* I trust my intuition more and I trust more in the information I receive from Plants, Nature, Spirit beings, and Guides.
* I’ve enhanced my capacity to let my own will aside and be a channel for receiving and giving energy.
*I learned that I love rituals! The intention and beauty in practicing ritual has just enhanced my life so much.
*I learned many helpful techniques in understanding the metaphysical origins to the struggles people have in their lives. I learned how to help clear energy fields.
The experiences with Jen are actually really hard to quantify, but like the healing work she does I have found them to be a series of subtle , but profound shifts to becoming my best self.
And through this process I quit my day job! I left the job that was a toxic work environment, and landed in a beautifully well suited workplace for the things I value most and my goals as a professional. But I also have the insight that I am more than just my job and I need to prioritize and balance all these other areas of my life. I am now working on cutting back the hours I work in order to be able to focus more on developing other career and life paths with the plant world.
The week before the internship began, I freaked out, called Jen and told her I did not think I would be able to do it. I had wanted to do the internship for over a year before it began. But at the time I recently entered into a really intense new relationship with compelling but also very trying circumstances. I was also enrolled in an herbalism studies program elsewhere, and in addition to that I was working full time. I was overwhelmed and I could not conceive adding one more thing on to my plate. Jen simply said that this is my commitment to the Plants and the Earth, and that I made it and had a responsibility to follow through. So I did. I entered an internship that I did not feel emotionally or mentally prepared to take on. But it was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. I do not think I would have done it any other way looking back on it.
Lastly, I want to say that social justice is very important to me. Sometimes "new age" type work can be very off putting in for me because it can undermine or negate our need for awareness of how to work for a more compassionate and just society. I feel like my work with PSH gives me a new way to engage in social justice, and a new way to sustain myself as I engage in work that involves bringing people attention to these issues.
